Happy Mum, Happy Baby
If you’ve just had a baby, first of all, congratulations. I mean it – bringing a baby into the world is equal parts amazing and, well, exhausting/emotional/mind blowing?! So I hope you know what an awesome job you are doing and that you matter. Your health and wellbeing are central to your baby’s, so taking care of yourself is as important as taking care of your baby.
So when you are ready to emerge from the newborn bubble and step blinking into the world, I am here to offer you classes that will nourish and restore you, just as you deserve.
But what if you don’t want to sing nursery rhymes to your baby and drink terrible instant coffee from a paper cup?
When my children were little all of the classes seemed to be about teaching my baby something new, with only a token nod to me and my wellbeing. I wanted more. I wanted to feel like me again.
Baby Massage
from 4 weeks to crawling
Wednesdays 12.00pm – 1.00pm
Four week course, includes massage oil and e-guide plus hot drink and cake at the end of every class!
Strengthen bonding, attachment and connection with your baby and meet other mums, in this nurturing and welcoming baby massage course.
Baby massage is such a lovely first class to do with your baby; as well as bonding and calming there are some wonderful benefits to massaging your baby as it can provide relief from, colic, reflux, digestive issues, constipation, teething pain and congestion.
And it’s not just the babies that we are taking care of; we will begin each session with some simple stretches to ease YOUR achy shoulders and back and at the end of each session there is always a hot drink (fresh coffee, tea, decaff and herbal options available) and a delicious snack (all free from options catered for).
Babies are welcome in class from 4 weeks, but please note that prior to 6 weeks dry massage or massage through clothes is recommended. The course includes everything you need to be able to carry on your practice at home; baby safe grapeseed oil and an E-guide covering everything we do in class.
Massage should be avoided for 48 hours after immunisations so please bear this in mind (you will always be welcome to attend class purely for socialising even if not massaging!).
Post-natal Yoga
From 6 weeks to crawling
Tuesdays 10.00am – 11.30am
Wednesdays 10.00am – 11.30am
All new clients will receive a welcome goodie bag of sensory baby toys which go down really well with the babies as some of their favourite toys!

Post-natal classes are designed to support recovery of the post-natal body in a gentle and empowering way which also protects precious energy resources at this time of huge change.
These classes are all about the mothers – not the babies! Don’t get me wrong, feed them, change them, soothe and play as much as you want to and join in with as much or as little of the class as you want to or is suitable.
The classes will include simple breathing techniques, gentle stretching and strengthening work and pelvic floor exercises. At the end of the session there is time for group connection and chat, and always coffee and cake!
Mothers will be welcome in class after doctors sign off at the GP week check up, or from 10 weeks if post c-section.
